Some more events of interest to Democrats here in Snohomish County.....

  Everett
Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 25.
  Everett Theatre

Each year The New Everett Theatre is including in their season an original script by local authors from Snohomish County.

This season we are doing an original script by Everett authors, John LaPlante and Arden Flom (Everett Community College theatre director for 25 + years) who have collaborated on this moving piece of theatre.

The script was adapted from the poetic work "The Long War Dead: an Epiphany," by Bryan Alec Floyd. The show is being directed by Victoria Walker, Artistic/Managing Director of The New Everett Theatre.

This adaptation of the poem is contemporary in its timing, shocking in some of its detail, and vivid through the voices of the authors. It is an unusual insight into the realities of war and all that it implies.

Presentational in its style, hear the stories of the nurses, soldiers, brothers, sisters, and even the smallest voices of a war known as Vietnam.

        Location: 2911 Colby Avenue
        Time: 8pm Fri & Sat, 2pm Sun

Box Office is open Tuesday through Saturday 2 – 5 pm. Call 425-258-6766 for ticket information or email boxoffice at everetttheatre.org to place your ticket order. To purchase tickets on line visit: http://www.everetttheatre.org
