  Your official call to the 3rd Quarterly Meeting of the Snohomish County Democrats Central Committee meeting will be posted this week via the USPS.  This is a reminder to SAVE THE DATE!
   
  Saturday, August 5th, 2006 is the date of our 3rd Quarterly Meeting of the Snohomish County Democrats Central Committee.  The primary work of this quarterly meeting will be to consider the endorsement of partisan and non-partisan candidates for the 2006 election cycle.
   
  The meeting will be held at our regular location at the Snohomish School District Resource Center at 1601 Avenue D in Snohomish from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
   
  Doorbelling for our Candidates immediately afterward!

  Endorsement interviews will be conducted this Saturday, July 22nd at our Everett Office in the AFSCME Building at 3305 Oakes Avenue in Everett from 8:00am to 10:00am. 
   
  Please contact 2nd Vice-Chair, Robert Chapman, chair of the Sub-committee for Endorsements at (206) 963-5260 if you would like to attend these open interviews or have any questions regarding the endorsement process.

  FREEDOM DAY - The 2006 SCDCC Summer Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 13th at the Tulalip Amphitheatre from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
   
  Betsy Foster has been working hard with her committee to put this event together!  
   
  Please call Mark Hintz (425) 422-5970 if you are able to be a patron ($500) or a sponsor ($100) for this event BY TUESDAY JULY, 25th!  Your name or the name of your business or logo will be listed on our posters and invitations.

  We are busy finalizing our musical entertainment this week!  And we are hot on the trail locating a DONKEY for this fun event!

  Dailing for Democrats:  This Thursday, July 20th.  Next Month on Thursday, August 24th!
   
  Each third Thursday of the month we are training PCOs and Active Members to DAIL FOR DEMOCRATS!  Marko Liias, our Finance Committee Chair leads a very valuable training session on how to make those difficult fundraising calls.  
   
  This is an excellent opportunity for "some-day" candidates to get some pratice making these nessesary calls.  We are building the resources for our organization and it takes some green stuff too!

  Evergreen State Fair!
   
  Curt Eidem, Chair of the Evergreen State Fair, has got all the dates covered for the fair and they are listed on the calendar at our website.  Make sure you sign up to volunteer!  We'll need hundreds of volunteers to make this happen.

  Snohomish County Democrats T-Shirts!
   
  We have the underwriting to place a limited order of SNOHOMISH COUNTY DEMOCRATS T-Shirts!  
   
  These are white T-shirts with union printing with our green and blue DONKEY logo on the front, our motto "PROTECTING OUR FUTURE" in small letters on the sleeve and our WEBSITE on the back.
   
  Please email contact at snohomishdemocrats.org with your order by next Tuesady July 25th.  Specify size and quantities.  These high quality American made t-shirts will be sold at cost for $14.00.  You will be able to pick up your t-shirts at the quarterly meeting and wear them to the picnic and the fair!

  Remember that filing week is next week, July 24th to July 28th, for Precinct Committee Officers. 
   
  Fill out your Declaration for Candidacy for Precinct Committee Officer form and turn it into the County Auditors office with your one dollar filing fee by Friday July 28th.
