Endorsed Initiative: Take Action this Saturday to Defeat I-933!

  YOU CAN HELP DEFEAT I-933!
   
  WHAT:  I-933 is the most dangerous assault on Washington’s environment and quality of life in over a decade.  I-933 is a radical anti-environmental initiative that would eliminate a wide range of protections for Washington’s natural areas, farms and communities.  I-933 would dismantle protections for forests, farmland, open spaces, clean water, clean air and wildlife.  It would lead to more irresponsible development in your neighborhood, more traffic on your way to work, more lawsuits, and higher taxes.
   
  To defeat Initiative 933, we need to reach hundreds of thousands of voters across Washington!  After treats and a brief training, we will begin doorbelling to kickoff our efforts.  This is, by far, the most important part of our campaign.  We have 6 weeks to get the word out about what Initiative 933 really does to make sure that voters understand their decision at the polls.  
   
  If there is only one thing you can do for this campaign, one time you can volunteer, one day you can commit, this is the day to do it.  We know that if we talk to voters about Initiative 933, they are with us!  We need to get our message out to voters first, before the opposition, so that we can secure those votes.  
  We will meet up in Everett (at the Snohomish County Administration Building) at 10:30 am, head out for door knocking, and meet back up at 2:30 pm to look at what we have accomplished for the day.
