Commencing part one of our Membership Drive:
   
  This week, the following email was send to our two email groups:
General_announce and PCO_announce.   
  Also, we will send our Newsletter out with a flyer enclosed reminding
people to send in their membership contributions!   
  Next week, we will have packets trepared for LDs to take back to their
membership!   
  Thank you for your support getting this effort off the ground!

Before the snow all goes away... I would like to wish a Happy New Year
to all our Snohomish County Democrats!   
  With Democrats back at the helm in Washington D.C. and the Democratic
majority at work in the Washington State Legislature, we are feeling
good about 2007!   
  As presidential contenders line up for 2008 we are already starting to
look towards our role in the 2008 presidential caucuses and conventions.
    
  But before we get too far ahead of ourselves...  
   
  We can not pass up the opportunities for growth that this year -- our
big year for elections in Snohomish County -- will bring us.      
  As we will be looking forward to supporting three county wide races;
for the Snohomish County Executive and two County Council races, we are
going to be systematic in growing our Snohomish County Democratic party
membership in 2007 to make it work for you!      
  Growing our membership will make our voices louder on the issues; will
get the word out for our fabulous fundraising events; and ultimately
promote our strong Democratic candidates in 2007!    
  With over 132,000 people voting Democratic in Snohomish County we have
a golden opportunity to grow our organization and we need your help!   
  Get us off to a great start in 2007 by contributing just $10.00
towards your 2007 membership dues to the SNOHOMISH COUNTY DEMOCRATIC
PARTY!   
  Your membership dues support the work that we do at our Democratic
office is downtown Everett.  Our office staff is committed to building a
strong Democratic presence in Snohomish County and we need your support!
    Our volunteers are committed to having a live voice at the end of
our telephone line; to continuing to build our website as an awesome
resource; to doing our part to educate the public regarding the issues;
and to inform our membership of informative and social events to connect
our communities.   
  Our goal is build to have 100% participation from our current
membership* by February 14th, 2007 and double our membership every four
months.  Our SCDCC Membership Committee has outlined a strong program
and we need your help to get us off to a great start!   
  *PCOs are not obliged to pay dues to be considered a member of our
SCDCC.  However, your financial support for our organization is key to
our success.   
  Get us off to a great start in 2007 by contributing just $10.00
towards your 2007 membership dues to the SNOHOMISH COUNTY DEMOCRATIC
PARTY!
