Calling all Democratic Party Volunteers!

The month of May is VOLUNTEER MONTH!   It's our month to get the ground work laid for our little Everett Office for 2007 and beyond!
   
  We will be launching our June Membership Drive, getting ready for the Summer Picnic, and the Evergreen State Fair and we are already getting calls regarding the 2008 Presidential Races!    
   
  Help us get our little office staffed FULL TIME – May 2007 is our concerted effort to staff our office to make full use of our local resources!   As much as we are able to get this local office working FULL TIME and on AUTO PILOT now; the better we will be able to support the efforts of our Democratic Activists in the field this summer and beyond to 2008!
   
  So, please join us for an OPEN HOUSE at our Everett Office this Tuesday May 8th, 2007 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  Refreshments served.
   
  Our office needs your help with:
                          Office Reception 
                          Mailings
                          Data Entry 
                          Writing thank you notes to our donors
                          Making (and returning) phone calls to Democratic supporters
   
  If you are unable to make it to this Open House, please join us for one of these volunteer opportunities:
   
  FRIDAY, May 4th, 2007 from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  TUESDAY, May 8th, 2007 from 10:00am to 4:00pm                              & for our OPEN HOUSE from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
   
  THURSDAY, May 10th from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  ALL WEEK:
  May 14th to May 18th from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  TUESDAY, May 22nd from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  THURSDAY, May 24th from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  TUESDAY, May 29d from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  THURSDAY, May 31st from 10:00am to 4:00pm
   
  ALL WEEK (FILING WEEK and OUR MEMBERSHIP DRIVE):
  June 4th to June 8th from 10:00am to 4:00pm
    
  We are looking for volunteers to staff the office EVENING HOURS.  
   
  If you would like to become a REGULAR volunteer at our office, please give me a call at 425-252-2305 and we’ll get you the training you need to be a successful shift leader!  We know that your time is valuable and we appreciate each minute that you can give to our office!
   
  If our Everett Office is just too far – but you would be willing to do write thank you cards or update the calendar on our website – we’ll get you the materials / training you need to work from home!
