  Dear Joe Democratic Friend!
   
  As you know, I’ve been working actively with the Snohomish County Democrats - and I am very pleased to offer you this chance to join our organization.  New this year, is a change to our bylaws that extends to General Members a vote on Endorsements and Resolutions.  I want to offer you that opportunity!
   
  You’ll find a list of recent Resolutions – including a resolution to Impeach Bush and Cheney – on our website.
   
  It is also a great feeling to give your name to the Endorsement of strong Democratic Candidates:  We have just endorsed Brian Sullivan and Mike Cooper, two very capable public servants for County Council District 2 and 3.  Look for other Endorsements on our website.
   
  I’m inviting you, my friend, to become a member of our organization  I know that you also feel strongly about local and national issues and are looking for strong leadership in our Democratic party.
   
  As well as voice and a vote on our local issues, the Snohomish County Democratic party is pleased to reward you for your financial contribution with tickets to our upcoming events: the Americana Summer Family Picnic will be held on July 21st at the Tulalip Amphitheater from 11:00am to 2:00pm.  This is going to a huge event this year!  Our very elegant Annual Gala is later in September and will jump start the party for 2008!
   
  Please consider becoming a member this week.  All membership applications must be received prior to June 13th, 2007 -- that’s 45 days ahead of our next Quarterly Meeting where Endorsements and Resolutions will be voted on. You will receive notification and get to exercise your vote at this next meeting on July 28th, 2007.
   
  Also, as a bonus, special for this week, we can offer tickets to the SUMMER PICNIC for new members who pay the $36.00 legislator’s level.  You will also receive our new membership pin, our most recent issue of our newsletter and other goodies too!  Have a look at our membership levels on our website for one that suits you.
