        Thank you so much to everyone who supported and/or joined the Snohomish County Democrats at our Democratic Fever 2007 Gala on September 15th.  This was our biggest and best event yet!
   
  Special thanks to Master of Ceremonies Bill Phillips (AKA Sonny) and Lillian Kaufer (AKA Cher) for their fabulous rendition of I Got You Babe  that kicked off the evening festivities!  Bill also entertained us with Copacabana.
   
  And to our speakers Chair Mark Hintz, County Council Chair Dave Gossett, County Executive Aaron Reardon, surprise guest Congressman Jay Inslee, and our Key Note Speaker - Congressman Rick Larsen.
   
  The evening included a surprise Lifetime Achievement Award presented to State Representative, and candidate for Sheriff, John Lovick for his continuous support of community and democrats!  Congratulations again John!
   
  And an Unsung Hero Award was presented by Luis Moscoso to Ligia Velazquez for her dedication and involvement in diversity issues.  Ligia truly is an exemplification of what this award is about!  Congratulation Ligia!
   
  The evening was topped off with Bill Phillips singing Last Dance backed up with the dancing Disco Divas.
   
  Proceeds from the evenings raffle will be donated to local food banks and silent auction proceeds will be donated to participating legislative districts.  Thank you to everyone that either purchased or donated items.  We appreciate your support!
   
  The evening raised over $29,000 for the Snohomish County Democrats!
