Washington State Democratic Party Honors Haugen, Nichols, and Meaker Pin with 2007 Warren G Magnuson Awards  

 

Monday night the Washington State Democrats heard Hilary Clinton wow the crowd and warm them up for the 14th Annual Warren G. Magnuson Awards.

 

Snohomish County walked away with three “Maggie” awards Monday evening. Former state party chairperson, Paul Berndt presented Senator Mary Margaret Haugen with the party’s Lifetime Achievement Award for 2007. Paul was quick to point out that Senator Haugen is just in the prime of her career and we expect many more great things from her.

 

King County Executive Ron Sims had the honor of presenting Todd Nichols the State Committeeman of the Year award. Executive Sims extolled Nichols work here supporting the party especially in the battle regarding the partisan primaries.

 

The last award garnered by Snohomish County was presented by Hilary Clinton’s favorite county executive our own Aaron Reardon. Reardon presented Michele Meaker Pin with Female Volunteer of the Year Award. Reardon praised Pin’s many virtues especially for setting the grassroots ablaze spreading the word that the Democrats are here.
