December 15th -- prospective date for our Special Meeting and Standing Rules as approved this weekend

Dear Democrats,
   
  The following Press Release was sent out today to announce the upcoming move of our Democratic Headquarters and our Special Meeting on December 15th, 2007.
   
  Additionally, the Standing Rules that were adopted at this Saturday's Quarterly Meeting of the Central Committee are posted here as an attachment.  All PCOs are encouraged to attend this meeting -- participation from our PCOs in the 21st LD and the 44th LD is particularly important!
   
  Join us all and observe this process.  Bring your baked goods and join us for mulled wine* and hot chocolate to celebrate our "New Democratic Digs!"

  PRESS RELEASE:
   
  The Snohomish County Democratic Central Committee announces our move to the Labor Temple at 2812 Lombard, Everett.  This move will put the Democrats in a space four times larger than its current offices and in the middle of the campaign action for 2008.  
   
  The County Democrats will be where the action is this coming Presidential campaign season. The move lays the ground work for volunteer forces to be even more effective for the coming campaign season.
   
  At the same location, on December 15th, a Special Meeting is being held to name candidates for replacement to House of  Representatives seats vacated by victorious county candidates John Lovick, 44th Legislative District elected the new Sheriff in Snohomish County and Brian Sullivan, 21st Legislative District the newly elected County Council Member from Council District 2 will be the first meeting the County Democrats have held in the Labor Temple since the 2004 Presidential campaigns.  
   
  Immediately following the Special Meeting from 11:00am to 2:00pm there will be an Open House showcasing our “New Democratic Digs!”  Refreshments provided.
