SNOHOMISH COUNTY DEMOCRATS

Today December 4th, 2007 the full body of the Snohomish County Democratic Central Committee (the executive board and all the elected and appointed precinct committee officers) were mailed via the us postal service a call to the Special Meeting to be held on December 15th at 9:00am at the Labor Temple Union Hall at 2812 Lombard, Everett WA 98201.

The purpose of this Special Meeting is for the Nomination of Candidates for Filling the vacancies in the 21st Legislative District (Rep. Brian Sullivan) and the 44th Legislative District (Rep. John Lovick). The Legislative District in question will hold their own caucuses for this purpose.

Our website homepage has been updated with the Standing Rules adopted at the November 17th Quarterly Meeting and procedures sent to us by the Washington State Democrats. More details regarding the Special Meeting can be found in the latest edition of the Quarterly Newsletter. The Newsletter includes candidate statements by all the known candidates and a hard copy has been sent to the General Membership. It is also available electronically on the homepage.

Another piece of big news is that this past weekend we made the move to our new Democratic Headquarters at the Labor Temple Union Hall and we are inviting all to attend our Open House and Holiday Party on December 15th to coincide with the Special Meeting.

We have much to celebrate!
