[Snohomish County Democrats]

To all of our volunteers this past year, thank you! 
 
The past two weeks have been an especially active time for many volunteers because of the Snohomish County Democrats headquarters move to the Labor Temple on Lombard in Everett.
 
Saturday December 1st was extremely busy with trucks of furniture and equipment and then setting up. Thank you to these many volunteers who were able to donate their time that day.  Below is the known work crew from that day.

            Moving day went very smoothly because of the many hours of preparation for the big day. The follow up work has been tremendous as well. Volunteers have given over 120 hours of their time since the move to make our new headquarters the center of activity we have envisioned. A special thank you to this group led by Michele Pin, and her band of merry Democrats Marsha Stuvick, Jeff Craig, Rita Harrigan, Marian Harrison, Caryl Trager, Rick Dewitt, Amy Myers, Kathy Doheny, and Harry George.
 
            This weekend we are in need of a few volunteers for events that are happening at our headquarters. Michele Pin is looking for people to help with set up of our Special Meeting, staffing the Open House and Holiday Party! Every helping hand makes all of our work much lighter.
 
            If, you can not find Michele in the office to sign up to volunteer call her on her cell phone at 425-773-2826 and tell her when you can pitch in for the following
·        Set-up on Friday, December 14th between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
·        Set-up (8:00am) and direct traffic for the Special Meeting 
·        Host Open House  (20 minute shifts from 11:00am to 1:00pm)
·        Holiday Party (set-up, clean-up and Bartending from 11:00am to 1:00pm)
 
We do have some future volunteer opportunities. These will take a bit more time and if you have the time and expertise to share we are looking the following.

A graphic artist to spice up our web page
An archivist to organize our documents from the past
A historian to write up our past and present the Democratic story in Snohomish County
A research specialist for issues
