DEMOCRATS GO BIG!
   
  
  The large turnout and the excitement of this year’s Democratic caucuses has prompted the Snohomish County Democrats Executive Board to make the decision to GO BIG with a change in venue for the 2008 Convention!  
   
  In order to accommodate this year’s delegates, alternates and additional enthusiastic Democrats we have secured the Comcast Arena at the Everett Events Center for our Convention to be held on Sunday, April 13th, 2008.  The 2008 Snohomish County Democrats Convention convenes at 2:00pm (doors open at 1:00pm).
   
  “The overwhelming turnout for the caucuses is a validation of the Democratic process,” states Mark Hintz, Party Chair. “We encourage ALL those who attended the caucuses to bring their enthusiasm to the County Convention.”
   
  We are working diligently to provide a full program to excite our local Democrats! 
   
  We anticipate appearances by all of our Elected Democrats and the expeditious approval a very thoughtful Democratic Party platform.  We also look forward to fullfilling requests for OBAMA and HILLARY bumper stickers and buttons too!
   
  We are covering the majority of the cost of this exciting venue with local sponsors.   Convention delegates and alternates will be notified via the USPS of this important information with a mailing to be sent March 27th.   No fee is required.  However, attendees will have every opportunity to contribute to the financial success of this event!
