  To Delegates, Alternates, Volunteers and Guests,
   
  Thank you so much for coming to the 2008 Snohomish County Democratic Convention.  What a star studded extravaganza we enjoyed!  From the music of Tim Noah and the Three Chord Progressives to the inspiring words of special guests, Governor Gregoire and Congressmen Inslee, Larsen and Smith; it was a blast.
   
  A special thanks to Mark Hintz, Michele Pin and Kristine Petereit for working so tirelessly on this. Not the least of their accomplishments was making sure we successfully financed and paid for it. Your continuing financial contributions will help ensure the success of all our candidates.  For your convenience, you can contribute on line.   Now that every last piece of confetti has been removed from the Everett Events Center and our 2008 platform has been approved, we need to address the issues of Resolutions and Endorsements.  Due to time constraints at the Convention, the approval of Resolutions will happen at a meeting on June 4th.  All the Delegates and Alternates elected from the Precinct Caucuses on Febraury 9th, are invited to attend. 
   
  We will also be voting on Endorsements.  Only PCOs and Members in good standing are allowed to vote on those.  To be in "good standing" you must have been a member for 45 days prior to the meeting.  So mail in those dues BEFORE NEXT WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23rd or sign up on line on our website at http://www.snohomishdemocrats.org/?q=membership.
   
  The June 4th meeting will be an invaluable opportunity to learn more about our candidates.  Hope to see you there!
