  Dear Michele Meaker , 
  I want to thank you for serving as a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO).  You are the foundation of the Democratic Party.  Your participation in your local Party organization, commitment to grassroots organizing efforts, and communication of the Democratic message and values are greatly appreciated.  I am writing today to ask you to stand again for election to this important position.
  The last day to file to run as a PCO and have your name placed 
on the August 19th primary ballot is Friday, June 6, 2008 at 4:30pm.
  Your local Party organization may have already contacted you about filing a declaration of candidacy for this position.  In fact, they may have done this several times.  If so, then consider this a friendly reminder that the Party appreciates your efforts and needs your continued commitment.
  Click here for a statewide list of County Auditor/Elections Departments and a declaration of candidacy for filing to run as a PCO.  The declaration of candidacy does not need to be notarized but must be accompanied by a filing fee of $1.  If you have any questions about this process please contact your local County Auditor/Elections Department.
  You should also contact your local Party leaders and let them know that you have filed.  Contact information for local Party leaders is available on the State Party website at www.wa-democrats.org.
